About me

"I'm like the girl next door plus something more."

I have a husband and a cat. They are both very well-loved by me. I live in a Rural area that the world is trying to subdivide to create a never-ending suburbia. Most people don't know that parts of New York State are rural or even that there are any places besides New York City, Albany, Niagara Falls, and Buffalo.

My favorite places are: The Adirondacks, the woods, and my home.

I really enjoy Helium.

My goal is to be able to earn a living, while staying home, and become a part-time gatherer (as in hunter-gatherer).

2007 Gathered: Wild Canadian violet flowers, rose petals, Motherwort, clover, chives, raspberries, heal-all and mint, apples, jerusalem artichoke, chives, lamb's quarters seeds, dock seeds

Currently gathering: Dandelion heads, lamb's quarters leaves, and chick weed plants.
