Helium Mobile Hotspots are now available for deployment in Mexico.
Earlier this year, Nova Labs announced a partnership with Telefónica and our community to deploy Helium Mobile Hotspots in Mexico. Based on the fast progress and growth of this partnership, we are now expanding the availability of Helium Mobile Hotspots in Mexico to grow the coverage footprint on behalf of Telefónica Movistar and its subscribers.

Helium Mobile Hotspots will only earn HNT for Proof of Coverage in Boosted Hexes. Helium Mobile Hotspots deployed in Mexico will also be rewarded for data transfer based on network usage from Telefónica Movistar subscribers who have been onboarded to utilize the coverage.
